Happy Birthday to Me
Today's my birthday! Here's how I spent it:
- did a nominal bit of work, then excused myself for the afternoon
- rode my bike to Osento, where I
- soaked in the 104°F hot tub
- received an hour-long massage that tenderized and tranquilized me
- slumped in the dry sauna, shedding buckets of sweat
- dipped myself in the cold plunge
- dozed naked in the sun
- pedalled my supple and detoxified self home
- napped with the cat
- worked on a cute new skirt
- slouched on the couch with food, wine, chocolate, and my nice roommate
- gave myself a pedicure and a facial
- danced around my room to silly disco music
